Habitat:
Provide plenty of live rock, caves, and hiding spaces. Slipper lobsters are nocturnal and need secure shelters to feel safe during the day.

Diet:
Carnivorous scavenger. Feed a varied diet including:

• Meaty foods (shrimp, clam, squid)
• Sinking pellets or frozen marine preparations
  Feed primarily at night for best results.

Tank Compatibility:

• Best kept with larger, non-aggressive fish
• May prey on small fish, snails, and other invertebrates
• Not reef-safe due to its opportunistic feeding behavior

Behavior:
Peaceful toward fish of similar size but can be predatory toward smaller tank mates. Mostly inactive during daylight hours.

Molting:
Like all crustaceans, Slipper Lobsters molt as they grow. During this time, they are vulnerable—ensure plenty of hiding spots and avoid disturbances.
